Participants in the Accenture Leaders of Tomorrow 2012 will have the chance to demonstrate and develop their leadership skills through three rounds of competition against the best and brightest of their peers. The successful finalists will take part in a series of leadership development days and ultimately will present their business idea to a panel of Irish business leaders. The overall winners will take part in the Accenture Leadership Experience Tour to New York City followed by a Incubation Internship with Accenture to develop their business idea. E&S Bright Ideas Challenge 2012

The UCC Entrepreneurial and Social Society are pleased to announce the opening of the 2012 Bright Ideas Challenge.

The Bright Ideas Challenge promises to reward our members for thinking of new and innovative business ideas, and that’s what this competition hopes to achieve!

We’re looking to hear the best commercial ideas that you have ever thought of. Whether its a new invention, a unique business idea or just something so crazy you think it just might work, we’ve all had these ideas at some stage and we want to hear them! We also want you to follow these ideas and push yourselves to try and get your idea to the market.

The grand prize will be the E&S Scholarship of a UCC scholarship and the top 10 ideas will win a trip to Google’s EU Headquarters!

David Norris Speech in the Kane G18, UCC

UCC E&S have gotten Senator David Norris, who is currently running to be the next president of Ireland to give a talk on Friday the 21st at 12:00pm in the Kane G18, UCC. This will be an opportunity to gain a unique insight into the man who could potentially be the next president of Ireland.

This event is taking place in Kane G18 in UCC at 12:00 and entry to this event is free.

This could be an could be an opportuity to affect your vote on the presidential election and an event that will be one of the best educational events of 2011.

Accenture Graduate Chances

The Accenture graduate chances event will take place from 5-9:30pm on Wednesday the 18th of October in Hayfield Manor. This will be a great opportunity to get to see the work that Accenture have to provide you after you graduate.

Accenture will also be on campus during the Careers Fair in Devere Hall on the 19th of October. Be sure to check out their stand if you want more information on Accenture.

E&S Halloween Party

E&S will be holding our annual Halloween party on Tuesday the 25th of October. Last year E&S held the BIGGEST & CHEAPEST Halloween event with over 800 people and this year is only going to be bigger, cheaper and even better

Tickets are only €5 and will be on sale outside the boole library from Wednesday the 19th of October

There will be a pre party in the Star starting at 7pm and then onto the Savoy

There will be a prize for best costume on the night and a lot more prizes to be given away!

Tickets will sell quickly so be sure to get them early from our stand on campus from Wednesday on to avoid disappointment!
